This Downtown Engagement Session was one for the books, man. October is a bit of a crapshoot in Pittsburgh but the weather gods shined down and sprinkled their magic fairy dust on us this evening. We even found a beautiful golden patch of tall grasses to frolick in near the Point. And these two were just so much fun to hang with. Up for anything, super easy-going, my kind of people.

I love walking around the city with my couples – it’s the perfect way to ease into a session. I don’t love for my images to feel static and forced, so getting lots of movement involved really helps to capture those more natural, organic moments. My biggest goal is for couples to have a blast and feel like they know me by the end of it, so that when their wedding day comes around they can be totally at ease and comfortable around me. I know I say it all the time but, THAT’S how we make the magic!

Absolutely can’t wait for Annie + Alex’s Sheraton Station Square wedding this August!
