A Classic Central Park Engagement Session

There’s something undeniably timeless about Central Park in the early morning – before the city is fully awake, when the light is soft, the air is warm, and everything feels just a little more still.

Julia and Conner’s engagement session took place on one of those golden June mornings. Their session was the perfect mix of classic and effortless. We wandered through quiet corners of the park, pausing in the soft light, laughing along the way. There was no rush – just the two of them fully present with each other, taking in the moment and the energy of the city they’ve grown to love.

From Bow Bridge to tree-lined paths and open lawns, every backdrop offered a little piece of that quintessential New York magic. Julia and Conner brought such a natural ease to the session – elegant and grounded, with an easy connection that photographed so beautifully.

These are the kinds of sessions that serve as a gentle reminder: the best photos aren’t about perfect poses or grand gestures. They’re about letting go, being together, and letting the morning (and the city) do the rest. I am beyond excited for their wedding at the iconic Fox Chapel Golf Club with Simply Bold Events next year!
