Tucked into the rolling hills of the Hudson Valley and only an hour and a half from NYC, Wildflower Farms is one of those places that feels like a hidden retreat – modern yet grounded, designed with intention but deeply connected to the land around it. It was the perfect setting for a Springtime wedding editorial, featuring an effortless blend of style, intimacy, and nature.
From the beginning, Karsyn and Alex envisioned something more than a single day. They wanted a full weekend experience – one that felt personal, immersive, and slow in all the best ways. Just their closest friends and family gathered in one of the most peaceful corners of New York, with nothing to do but celebrate, connect, and be present.
The weekend began with a welcome party beneath soft draping and open skies – an evening that felt like a warm embrace. Guests arrived to cocktails and conversation surrounded by nature’s early spring bloom, setting the tone for the days ahead: elevated, effortless, and deeply intentional.
When it came time for the ceremony and celebration, the details were impeccable yet grounded. Ana Luiza Weddings crafted a seamless weekend with a natural flow, while floral designer Ahna Han brought softness and structure to each space. Her florals echoed the surrounding landscape – wild, romantic, and modern in composition. Nothing felt too polished, and everything felt personal.
Karsyn’s fashion choices were an extension of her thoughtful aesthetic. Over the course of the weekend, she wore pieces by Wiederhoeft, Danielle Frankel, Chana Marelus, and Vera Wang – each one striking, yet completely in tune with the setting and spirit of the celebration. Alex wore Bode, a perfect match for the weekend’s modern-but-laid-back energy.
Photographing this editorial felt less like documenting a production and more like capturing a story as it naturally unfolded. Wildflower Farms lends itself to that kind of storytelling – with light pouring into every space & thoughtful architecture nestled among meadows and trees.
If you’re dreaming of a weekend that feels like an escape – and where your celebration has the space to unfold slowly and meaningfully – a Wildflower Farms Wedding is a special kind of magic. And I’d be honored to document your story there.
