A Candlelit Dream | The Rose House

For any of my fellow Downton Abbey loving couples out there, this one’s for you. (I’m not sure why I’m also getting Keira Knightley/Atonement vibes from Pittsburgh’s newest venue, but I am, and I’m just gonna lean into it.) Imagine hosting the perfect smaller (up to 30 people indoors, or 75 in their courtyard) wedding with your nearest and dearest. You begin the morning in the spacious getting ready suite featuring the loveliest light streaming in through the windows, moving on to a ceremony in one of the drawing rooms, followed by a candlelit dinner.

I think it’s quite possible that this beautiful new wedding venue is going to be the next big thing in Pittsburgh for micro weddings. It would also be absolutely perfect for a bridal shower, baby shower, or any other small event/celebration you can dream up!

I also have to hand it to Jeannene Lillie of Jeannene Lillie events for designing & hosting this magical concept. She is the best of the best and is now booking for 2024! Cannot recommend her enough if you are in the market for a wedding/event planner.

All of these images were captured on a mixture of medium format film and digital.
